Which direction should we turn?

By now everyone agrees global warming is a fact. It is obvious very few governmental leaders will depart from business as usual. The question now is which way do we turn?

Are we willing to change?

We hear about it all the time: gas prices going up, melting ice caps, etc. Yet we still drive huge SUVs to pick up the milk at the store. It seems like people are just too ignorant to do something, they just hope that global warming won't affect them. And what happens to the next generation is not important. Why don't we start using the free energy like sun, wind, water on a much greater scale? Germany is the world leader in sun energy. Yet it gets as much sun as Seattle. Think about it.

Is it real?

There is all this talk about global warming, melting ice, changing climate, etc. Do you think it's a real threat or is it just another government-made hoax?
